Also known as the DEVIL’S TRIANGLE ,it’s a popular name given to a triangle in Atlantic Ocean of the south east U.S.A.
Why is it so famous? well thats because more than 50 ships, 20 aircrafts have thought to be vanished claiming atleast 1000 lives in the past 200 years….
In 1750, 3 Spanish treasure ships vanished , on december 5th 1945, 5 U.S. Avenger Torpido Bombers took off on a routine training from Lauderdale, Florida, the last thing the control tower heard was a strange radio message saying that the controls were going crazy… A sea plane that went in for search also vanished.. The most recent loss is that of the U.S. nuclear submarine SCORPIO, in May 1968..
Now we got to blame all this on something right… So here are a few theories:-
1.True North and Magnetic North :- According to which Bermuda Triangle is one of the two places on earth where the compass would actually point to the true north. Everywhere else it points to the magnetic north. So what? It only means that if we follow the compass north anywhere else we would end up in Prince of Wales, island in the north west territory of Canada, follow the compass north in bermuda triangle n Wallah! you are in the north pole…. So this theory is BOGUS!
2. Vortex kinesis:- In simple words it is believed that there is an invisible funnel (Vortex) somewhere within the triangle and once you enter it you vanish into another time i’m guessing another dimension or somethin like that….. well it was proposed by Ambrose Bierce in 1880 in his article to describe the mysterious disappearence of the farmers in the fields…
3. Gas! :- Dr. Ben Clennel of Leeds University, England, said methane hydrates locked below the sea bed released during landslides reduced the density of water making it even lighter than the ships and hence sinkin it.. also methane being combustible could blow up aircraft engines… this theory sounds logical ,But Wait there’s a catch….. there are 3 drawbacks to this theory
a. no large concentration of methane hydrate in bermuda triangle
b.majority of the ships and planes have not disappeared although some have, mysteriously…
c. even if the density of water was reduced it would still not be enough to pin point the locatin of the ship and then sink it…. forget blowing up an aircraft……..
Well ,so finally it still remains a big unsolved mystery in history…….. i hope one day we will know why all this happens…. Or maybe it is somethin that is not meant to be understood…. Who knows?
